Q:
All I'm trying to accomplish is the clearing of the screen using a
printf() statement, without a bunch of \n's. I know that on a
macintosh...It was \f(formfeed), I can't seem to find out what it is for
the PC. I would appreciate it if you could help me.
-Remember. I'm not trying to do this any other way than through a console
window. Thank you.

I have alread answered your question!
You can not clear the console screen using printf.
To clear the console window you have to open the console window to get a
handle as I wrote (it does not open a new window, only you get a handle)
and use the handle to call the function cls. This is the way to do it on
NT.
No matter how many times you ask: perintf will NOT clear the console
screen on Win32.

Peter
