A little information on graphics would be great

I know you said that you are not an expert on graphics system calls, but
if you could help me a little bit, that would be great. I just need to do
some simple graphing in C to model some systems. Do you have any idea
where I could get some libraries, or any other help to accomplish this?

You can check out GTK, which is an X-Window system but has port for Win32
also.

Another choice can be the graphics toolkit called wxWindows.
