C Directory Scanning

Date: 2002/03/01 13:14

Q:
I have some C functions written & compiled on
HP-UX which use the scandir function. I am porting
these functions onto a Windows NT Platform. Is
there a Windows C equivalent of the scandir function ?
A:
There is a solution for you. I have programmed such a function in
ScriptBasic and I collected all system dependant functions into a file
called filesys.c

Visit http://scriptbasic.com and download the tarball source. This is
quite huge, but you need only the file filesys.c from it. It is well
documented and tested on Linux and NT. You can freely use these functions
to write portable programs.

Peter
