C-shell script for reading a file size

Q:
Dear sir,

I'm a Unix newbie and wanna write the c-shell script to read files in any
directory which is inputed.

Also I wanna calculate the sum of that file size but i don't know the
command (or function) to use.

Please give me a solution sir, or if you have a source code please send it
to me to study sir.

c-shell is not the language C. Unfortunately I am not familiat with the
c-shell programming and thus I can not help you.
